Langdon Beck Hotel is a remote hotel in a spectacular part of Upper Teesdale, County Durham. An Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, this part of the North Pennines is incredibly popular for all kinds of activities and yet not overcrowded. Less than 1 km from the Pennine Way, and on, or near, many other trails such as the: Teesdale Way, Durham Round and Pennine Journey. The hotel is part of the Teesdale Welcomes Walkers Scheme and can accommodate small and large groups for coffee, tea and homemade scones and cakes - just give us a call! Cyclists often make Langdon Beck Hotel a stop off point on their journeys, as do the many day walkers attracted to the area. Bird Watchers visit to see the rare Black Grouse Lekking site just a short distance from the hotel, as well as the many migratory birds that visit the area. In Upper Teesdale many very rare plants thrive, including the Blue Gentian.
